老市府大樓（原公共租界工部局大樓）始建于1914年，落成于1922年，大樓外形為英國新古典主義風(fēng)格，并帶有巴洛克風(fēng)格的裝飾。老市府大樓是黃浦區(qū)160街坊保護(hù)性綜合改造項(xiàng)目的核心建筑，該項(xiàng)目主要包括沿街圍合建筑、庭院紅色建筑、庭院多功能建筑、地下空間等，建筑面積約68000平方米。

外灘·老市府項(xiàng)目的總體定位為高端現(xiàn)代服務(wù)業(yè)經(jīng)典歷史街區(qū)，形成70%辦公、20%和10%商業(yè)文化復(fù)合型業(yè)態(tài)，打造國際金融辦公服務(wù)平臺、中央活動區(qū)文化標(biāo)桿與城市共享公共空間。

The Old City Hall Building (the former Public Concession Ministry of Public Works Building) was built in 1914 and completed in 1922, with the appearance of the building in the British neo-classical style, with baroque decorations.
